Sign your franchise agreement and pay the updated licence fee (Starter £1,997 / Professional £3,497 / Master £8,497) by bank transfer or PayPal. Your territory is then formally reserved.
Complete the 4-hour online training course at your own pace through your private franchisee portal. Seven modules covering brand standards, teaching methodology, and course delivery.
Complete the 40-question final assessment with a minimum pass mark of 80%. Two free attempts are included in your licence fee. On passing, you receive your learnAIfter50 Instructor Certificate.

We believe in full transparency. Here is a plain-English summary of the key terms, plus the full agreement to read before you apply.
This agreement is provided for information purposes. A final personalised signed copy will be issued upon approval of your application.
"Franchisor" means learnAIfter50 Ltd, the owner and operator of the learnAIfter50 brand and course content.
"Franchisee" means the individual or entity named in the application and acceptance letter who has been granted a franchise licence under this agreement.
"Territory" means the geographic area described in the acceptance letter, within which the Franchisee is licensed to operate exclusively under this agreement.
"Course Content" means all lesson plans, slide decks, workbooks, assessments, marketing materials, and other teaching resources provided by the Franchisor.
"Cohort" means a group of students enrolled in a learnAIfter50 course delivered by the Franchisee.
"Cohort Revenue" means the total gross fees paid by students to the Franchisee for any single Cohort.
2.1 Subject to the terms of this agreement, the Franchisor grants the Franchisee a non-exclusive (save for the territorial exclusivity in clause 2.2) licence to use the learnAIfter50 brand, trademarks, logos, and Course Content within the Territory for the duration of this agreement.
2.2 The Franchisor will not grant any other franchise licence within the Territory while this agreement remains in force and the Franchisee is not in material breach of its terms.
2.3 This licence is personal to the Franchisee and may not be transferred, sub-let, or sub-licensed without the prior written consent of the Franchisor, except where the Franchisee holds a Master Franchise tier, in which case sub-licensing is permitted within the terms set out in the acceptance letter.
3.1 Licence Fee: The Franchisee shall pay the licence fee stated in the acceptance letter in full prior to or upon signing of this agreement. The licence fee is non-refundable once the Franchisor has provided access to Course Content and materials.
3.2 Annual Renewal Fee: The Franchisee shall pay the annual renewal fee stated in the acceptance letter within 14 days of each anniversary of the agreement start date. Failure to pay the renewal fee within 30 days of the due date shall entitle the Franchisor to terminate this agreement.
3.3 Royalties: The Franchisee shall pay to the Franchisor a royalty equal to the percentage of Cohort Revenue stated for the applicable tier in the acceptance letter. Royalties are due within 14 days of the end of each Cohort.
3.4 Reporting: The Franchisee shall submit a cohort report via the franchise portal within 7 days of each Cohort end, including the number of students, fees charged per student, and total Cohort Revenue.
3.5 All fees are stated exclusive of VAT. Where the Franchisee is registered for VAT, they shall account for VAT on royalties payable to the Franchisor as required by HMRC.
4.1 Complete the learnAIfter50 Instructor Training Programme prior to delivering any Cohort.
4.2 Deliver courses in accordance with the Course Content and brand standards provided by the Franchisor.
4.3 Use only approved learnAIfter50 branding, materials, and logos in any marketing or student-facing communications.
4.4 Report each Cohort accurately and on time via the franchise portal.
4.5 Not act in any way that could bring the learnAIfter50 brand into disrepute.
4.6 Maintain adequate public liability insurance (minimum £1,000,000) for any in-person sessions.
4.7 Comply with all applicable data protection laws, including GDPR, in respect of student data.
4.8 Notify the Franchisor in writing of any change of contact details, legal entity, or material change in circumstance within 14 days.
5.1 Provide the Franchisee with access to Course Content and materials within 7 days of receipt of the licence fee.
5.2 Provide the Instructor Training Programme as described in the tier documentation.
5.3 Update Course Content at no additional charge as AI developments require, and provide updated materials to the Franchisee.
5.4 Provide support in accordance with the support level for the Franchisee's tier.
5.5 Maintain the franchise portal and Olivia AI assistant for the duration of the agreement.
5.6 Not licence another franchisee within the Franchisee's Territory while this agreement is active and not in material breach.
6.1 All intellectual property rights in the learnAIfter50 brand, trademarks, logos, Course Content, and associated materials remain the sole property of the Franchisor at all times.
6.2 The Franchisee acquires no proprietary rights in any of the Franchisor's intellectual property by virtue of this agreement.
6.3 Upon termination of this agreement, the Franchisee shall immediately cease all use of learnAIfter50 branding and return or delete all Course Content and marketing materials.
6.4 The Franchisee may personalise course materials within the guidelines provided by the Franchisor, but may not re-sell, redistribute, or sub-licence Course Content except as expressly permitted by this agreement.
7.1 Each party agrees to keep confidential all non-public information received from the other party under or in connection with this agreement, and to use such information only for the purposes of this agreement.
7.2 Confidential information includes, without limitation, the Course Content, pricing structures, Franchisee lists, student data, and business strategies of either party.
7.3 This obligation of confidentiality survives termination of this agreement for a period of 3 years.
8.1 This agreement commences on the date of signing and continues for an initial term of 2 years, automatically renewing annually thereafter unless terminated in accordance with this clause.
8.2 Either party may terminate this agreement at any renewal point by giving the other party not less than 90 days' written notice prior to the renewal date.
8.3 The Franchisor may terminate this agreement immediately on written notice to the Franchisee if:
8.4 On termination for any reason, the Franchisee shall immediately cease using learnAIfter50 branding and Course Content, and shall not represent themselves as a learnAIfter50 instructor or licensee.
8.5 The licence fee is non-refundable. Renewal fees paid for any period after the effective date of termination will be refunded on a pro-rata basis.
9.1 In the event of any dispute arising under or in connection with this agreement, the parties agree to attempt to resolve it through good-faith negotiation in the first instance.
9.2 If the dispute cannot be resolved within 30 days of written notice, either party may refer it to mediation through a mediator agreed by both parties, or in default of agreement, appointed by the Centre for Effective Dispute Resolution (CEDR).
9.3 If mediation is unsuccessful, either party may then bring the matter before the courts of England and Wales.
10.1 This agreement and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with it (including non-contractual disputes or claims) shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.
10.2 The courts of England and Wales shall have exclusive jurisdiction to settle any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with this agreement.
11.1 This agreement constitutes the entire agreement between the parties in relation to its subject matter and supersedes all prior agreements, representations, and understandings.
11.2 No variation to this agreement shall be effective unless made in writing and signed by both parties.
